Tips for building "Permission - Opt in" Lists & Keeping them active |
|
1. Stress that even though you are collecting their information, they will always have the ability to easily "unsubscribe" at any given time.
2. As much as you would like to discuss your business offerings, always let your readers know that you will offer other resources of interest that will help them with their business, such as tips, whitepapers, strategies and techniques.
3. If possible create emails targeted to the readers interests rather than mass mailing standard information.

Most feel social media is a great forum to "nurture leads" but if your intention is to self-promote, then you might as well take out a banner ad. |
