Hands on workshop to learn the fundamental steps that it takes to create an effective online presence. This week's topic will cover setting up and understanding Google Analytics and how it can help you improve your website offerings.

• Take control over your marketing outcome
• Learn to set up a Google Analytics Account
• Understand the key metrics you need to grow your business
• Extras – developing a Google XML site map for indexing

Overview of Course Topics:

• Obtain a better understanding of the importance of measurement & monitoring
• Implement a simplified system
• Identify and understand key metrics – Unique visitors vs Total visitors, what is a referrer, the importance of referring, what is a bounce, where are my audience viewers coming from
• Develop a 6-month plan and reassessment

• PowerPoint presentation, overhead projector and screen
• Live Internet - bring your laptop if you have wireless connection
• Samplings of site statistics
• Digital copy of handouts with live link resources
